Our Mission
The "Six" Coaches Clinic is a collaborative initiative designed for coaches, by coaches. Our mission is to provide a platform where six-man football coaches can come together to grow, learn, and develop their skills in the game of six-man football. Through shared knowledge and experiences, we aim to enhance coaching effectiveness, foster community, and promote the continued evolution of six-man football.
Meet the Team
KEYNOTE SPOTLIGHT
Dr. Cody Moree | Educational Leader & Visionary
Since 2005, Dr. Cody Moree has been the driving force behind the transformation of Apple Springs ISD. Serving as Superintendent for over a decade, he evolved the district into a state-recognized model of innovation, guided by the steadfast motto, “Where Character Counts.”
Dr. Moree’s leadership is defined by a "first-mover" advantage. He positioned Apple Springs as a pioneer in East Texas by implementing 1:1 technology for all students and launching the region’s first Eagle Six-Man Football program. A true dual-threat leader, Dr. Moree served simultaneously as Superintendent and Head Football Coach, amassing over 100 career victories and leading the Eagles to multiple playoff appearances. His 19-season coaching legacy, including a standout 9-2 run in 2012, was even featured on Texas Country Reporter for its impact on the community.
His focus on "the whole student" helped the district earn repeated “Best Schools in America” rankings from U.S. News & World Report while simultaneously producing a workforce of licensed nurses, welders, and professionals through expanded industry certifications.
Beyond the local campus, Dr. Moree’s influence extends across the state. As the only Class A Superintendent to serve as President of the UIL Legislative Council, he has been a key voice in shaping Texas school safety and extracurricular policy. Whether building new athletic stadiums or fostering integrity through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Dr. Moree’s legacy is one of visionary growth and championship-level dedication.
“It is a privilege to welcome back a fantastic slate of professionals who are dedicated to sharing their knowledge and elevating our SIX-MAN FOOTBALL community.” - NOKONA POWELL
