FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Nokona Powell is a dedicated coach, educator, and community leader who currently serves in Student Services at Rosehill Christian School in Tomball, Texas. He also serves as the Special Teams Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach, where he works to develop student-athletes through strong fundamentals, discipline, character, and leadership.

Before joining Rosehill Christian, Nokona served at Divine Savior Academy as the Head Football Coach and Program Head. Prior to that, he worked at Allen Academy in Bryan, Texas, as the Special Teams Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach while also serving as the Administrative Coordinator and Academic Registrar. Throughout his career, Nokona has remained committed to supporting students both on and off the field.

Nokona is the Founder and Executive Director of Texas Coaches Collective, the parent organization overseeing the Private School Coaches Clinic and The “Six” Coaches Clinic. Through these platforms, he works to create professional development opportunities that educate, elevate, and empower coaches while providing spaces for collaboration and growth.

Nokona earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Tarleton State University and most recently earned his Master’s in Educational Administration with a concentration in Higher Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University. His work in education, coaching, and leadership reflects a passion for developing people and creating opportunities for students and coaches to grow.

ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Justin Saenz currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director and Defensive Coordinator at Brazosport Christian School, where he is committed to developing student-athletes and building strong athletic programs. His leadership in both administration and coaching allows him to support students, coaches, and the overall growth of the school’s athletic department.

Before joining Brazosport Christian School, Justin served at Divine Savior Academy, where he worked in student services and coached football. He also previously coached at Allen Academy in Bryan, Texas, working with the wide receivers and defensive line while assisting with school facilities.

Justin serves as the Associate Executive Director of Texas Coaches Collective, the parent organization overseeing the Private School Coaches Clinic and The “Six” Coaches Clinic. In this role, he helps support the organization’s operations, events, partnerships, and continued development while working to create meaningful opportunities for coaches across Texas.

Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Tarleton State University and most recently earned his Master’s in Sports Management. His background in athletics, education, and administration continues to shape his commitment to developing student-athletes, supporting coaches, and strengthening athletic programs.

ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jhoana Cayme-Mosley is an experienced athletic administrator and coach with nearly two decades of service in private school education. She is known for building athletic cultures grounded in character, integrity, and respect.

She serves as the Assistant Executive Director for Women’s Programming for the Private School Coaches Clinic, where she helps design and lead initiatives that elevate women’s athletics and support professional development for female coaches across Texas. Her work focuses on program planning and coach engagement. Jhoana is also the Athletic Director at Lakehill Preparatory School, overseeing all aspects of the athletic department. She hires and mentors coaches, manages scheduling and transportation, directs the athletic budget, and supports more than 250 athletic events each year. Her coaching career includes over 300 varsity volleyball wins and the development of nine state champions across eleven track and field events. She has led programs in volleyball, basketball, soccer, cross country, and track, consistently cultivating disciplined, motivated, and team-centered athletes.

Jhoana’s influence extends statewide through her work with TAPPS. She currently serves on the TAPPS Executive Board and has previously served on the Athletic Executive Committee, contributing to decisions that shape realignment, district structure and playoff systems for more than 230 schools. A recipient of the Greater East Dallas Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year Award and a two-time TAPPS District Volleyball Coach of the Year, Jhoana also brings the perspective of a former collegiate volleyball athlete from Texas A&M International University.

ASSISTANT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Jon Waldrop is an experienced athletic leader and coach with more than a decade of success building character-driven programs across Texas. He is recognized for transforming team cultures, establishing clear accountability systems, and helping student-athletes grow through discipline, consistency, and meaningful relationships.

Jon serves as the Assistant Executive Director for Men’s Programming for the Private School Coaches Clinic, where he helps design clinic sessions, support presenters, and strengthen statewide engagement for coaches in men’s sports. His work focuses on creating purposeful professional development and enhancing the overall experience for athletic leaders attending the clinic.

He is also the Athletic Director and Head Basketball Coach at Faith Academy in Bellville, where he has revitalized the athletic department and returned the school to TAPPS competition. Under his leadership, the program has significantly increased its win totals, expanded student participation, and rebuilt a strong and competitive basketball culture.

Jon’s coaching background includes 10 years as a head basketball coach, seven years leading track programs, and extensive experience in football. His teams have earned consistent postseason appearances, and he has been recognized as the Longview News Journal East Texas Basketball Coach of the Year and a finalist for the TABC Don Coleman Outstanding Coach Award.

DIRECTOR OF COACH & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Adrian Adams currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Director, Co-Head Varsity Football Coach, and Co-Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Rosehill Christian School, where he plays a vital role in shaping the culture and success of the school’s athletic programs.

Before joining Rosehill Christian School, Adrian served as the Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, and Head Baseball Coach at Allen Academy in Bryan, Texas. During his tenure, he led both programs to consistent playoff appearances, including a 2020 TAPPS Six-Man State Championship appearance. His coaching excellence earned him recognition as the Brazos Valley Football Coach of the Year in both 2018 and 2020.

Prior to Allen Academy, Adrian spent nine years at The Emery/Weiner School in Houston, where he played a key role in developing championship-caliber programs as the Assistant Athletic Director, Head Varsity Six-Man Football Coach, and Head Varsity Baseball Coach. Under his leadership, his teams captured multiple state titles, including the 2017 TAPPS Division II Baseball Championship and the 2015 Division I Six-Man Football Championship. He was also honored as the 2016 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Private School Coach of the Year and the 2017 Houston 5A Baseball Private School Coach of the Year.

In addition to his coaching and administrative responsibilities, Adrian serves as a Clinic Consultant for The “Six” Coaches Clinic, where he contributes his expertise in event planning, speaker coordination, and program development. His experience and insight continue to help elevate the clinic’s mission of advancing the six-man football community across Texas. With a proven track record of success, Adrian Adams remains dedicated to building programs that develop strong athletes, disciplined teams, and leaders who excel beyond the game.

DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Takoda Powell is an IT Professional at Texas A&M University, where he utilizes his expertise in engineering, systems management, and cybersecurity to oversee IT infrastructure and support multiple departments within the College of Engineering. His work focuses on maintaining reliable systems, implementing innovative technology solutions, and ensuring that academic and research operations run efficiently and securely.

A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Takoda holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology with a Minor in Cybersecurity. His strong technical foundation and leadership skills have positioned him as a key contributor to high-impact university projects, including his role as Lead Project Manager for the Jack E. Brown Building Modernization Project, where he coordinated diverse teams, managed timelines, and ensured that project goals aligned with the university’s broader mission.

In addition to his role in higher education, Takoda serves as the Director of Information Technology and Media for The “Six” Coaches Clinic, where he manages all digital operations, technology needs, and online registration. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence have played a major role in shaping the clinic’s professional image and enhancing the experience for coaches and attendees.

Takoda’s combination of technical expertise, leadership, and dedication continues to make a lasting impact at Texas A&M University and within the six-man football community. His passion for innovation and service reflects his ongoing commitment to both education and athletics

DIRECTOR OF HOTELS & HOSPITALITY

Dominic Tamez serves as the Director of Hotels and Hospitality for the Private School Coaches Clinic, where he is responsible for overseeing lodging coordination, attendee accommodations, and overall hospitality experiences for guests and speakers. His attention to detail, organizational skills, and passion for service ensure that every aspect of the clinic’s hospitality runs seamlessly from check-in to departure.

Dominic is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Global Hospitality Leadership at the University of Houston’s Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership, one of the nation’s premier programs for hospitality management. Through his studies, he has developed a strong foundation in event coordination, guest relations, and leadership, skills that directly translate into his work with the clinic.

A graduate of Pearland High School and San Jacinto College, Dominic has built a reputation for professionalism and a commitment to excellence in every environment he serves. His ability to create welcoming, organized, and guest-focused experiences reflects his dedication to the core values of hospitality leadership.

In his role with the Private School Coaches Clinic, Dominic continues to elevate the attendee experience by combining hospitality expertise with genuine care for people. His commitment to service, detail, and teamwork ensures that every participant feels valued, comfortable, and connected throughout the clinic experience.

DIRECTOR OF VOLLEYBALL PROGRAMMING

Tamika Newman is an accomplished coach, educator, and mentor who currently serves as the Athletic Coordinator at Autumn Ridge Middle School, where she leads with purpose and passion to build programs that emphasize excellence, integrity, and personal growth. In her role, she oversees athletic operations, coordinates coaching development, and fosters a positive environment where student-athletes can thrive both in competition and in character.

Before joining Autumn Ridge, Tamika served as the Athletic Director and Head Varsity Volleyball Coach at Northland Christian School in Houston, Texas. During her tenure, she guided the volleyball program to multiple successful seasons while developing a culture centered on discipline, teamwork, and accountability. Her leadership extended beyond the court as she mentored coaches across several sports, helping shape the overall vision for the school’s athletic department.

Over the course of her 17-year career, Tamika has coached volleyball at multiple levels, earning recognition as an award-winning coach and respected leader in the Texas private school athletics community. She is also the owner of Grit and Grind Athletics, a platform dedicated to empowering athletes and coaches through performance training, leadership development, and mental skills education. As a certified mental skills coach and speed and agility specialist, she works to develop the complete athlete—mind, body, and spirit.

A former two-sport Division I athlete, Tamika is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University, where she made her mark as a standout competitor and was inducted into the Prairie View A&M Hall of Fame in 2017. She is also a best-selling author whose work inspires others to pursue excellence through resilience, faith, and determination.

Tamika’s mission is to help student-athletes and coaches unlock their full potential by combining athletic performance with character-driven leadership. Her influence continues to reach far beyond the gym, shaping programs, empowering young leaders, and leaving a lasting impact on every team and community she serves.

DIRECTOR OF SIX-MAN FOOTBALL PROGRAMMING

Austin Rabon is a dedicated and accomplished football coach with seven years of experience in six-man football. He currently serves as the Assistant Coach at Cranfills Gap ISD, where he is focused on developing a disciplined, high-character program built on accountability, hard work, and a passion for growth both on and off the field.

Before arriving at Cranfills Gap, Coach Rabon spent the majority of his career at San Marcos Hill Country Christian School, where he played a pivotal role in elevating the program to new levels of success. As the team’s Offensive Coordinator, he guided Hill Country Christian to its best start in school history, a 7-0 record during the 2023 season. His leadership, strategic mindset, and player development skills helped transform the team into a competitive and cohesive unit. In recognition of his impact and commitment, he was promoted to Head Football Coach in 2024, continuing his mission to build strong young men through faith, discipline, and perseverance.

Throughout his career, Coach Rabon has emphasized that football is more than a game, it’s a platform to teach life lessons about responsibility, resilience, and teamwork. He believes in preparing athletes not just to win on Friday nights, but to succeed in life through integrity, humility, and effort. His approach blends old-school fundamentals with modern offensive creativity, allowing his players to maximize their potential while competing with confidence and purpose.

Coach Rabon’s passion for six-man football and his dedication to the next generation of athletes continue to drive his success. His teams are known for their energy, toughness, and unity — traits that reflect the values he brings to every program he leads.

CLINIC CONSULTANT (COLLEGE)

Prior to joining the McMurry University Football staff for the 2025 season, Coach Correy Washington built an impressive legacy at Brazos Christian School, leading the program to a 12–1 record in 2024 while capturing District, Area, and Regional Championships and finishing as the TAPPS Division IV State Runner-Up. His offense averaged 36.7 points per game and his defense allowed just 157 points all season, earning him recognition as the 2024 TAPPS Division IV Padilla Poll Coach of the Year, 2024 TXPS TAPPS Division IV Coach of the Year, and consecutive District Coach of the Year honors in 2022 and 2023.

Before Brazos Christian, Washington guided Brentwood Christian through its transition from six-man to eleven-man football, achieving a 9–3 record and an Area Championship in just the program’s second season. Across six seasons, his teams compiled a 40–23 record, anchored by one of TAPPS’ top defenses. A 2023 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football “40 Under 40” honoree and 2021 TAPPS Division II Men’s Track State Champion.

Washington’s coaching philosophy emphasizes disciplined preparation, academic excellence, and spiritual growth; developing athletes who embody integrity, teamwork, and faith both on and off the field.
